Brian Grissom
Brian received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in 1994 from the University of Southern Mississippi, Hattiesburg, MS. He then attended University of Tennessee -Chattanooga for anesthesia school. There he earned his Master of Science in Nurse (Anesthesia Concentration) in 1999. He worked at East Jefferson General Hospital in Metairie, LA from 1999-2007 as a CRNA and Chief CRNA. While working at East Jefferson Hospital he helped open and establish the anesthesia department at East Jefferson Ambulatory surgical center that opened in 2006. Brian currently works as a CRNA at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington LA since 2007 and is currently the Lead CRNA.
David Dobie
David has been practicing nurse anesthesia since 2001. He received a Bachelor of Business administration in 1991 from the University of Southern Mississippi and continued on to receive his Bachelors of Nursing from William Carey University in 1994. After nursing school, David worked in the ED and ICU at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg. In 2001, David graduated from Charity Hospital School of Nurse Anesthesiology where he received his Masters of Science in Nurse Anesthesia. After leaving New Orleans, he worked for Boise Anesthesia for 4 years at St. Alphonsus Hospital. David went on to obtain his Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Tennessee in Memphis. David was the chief CRNA at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center in Dyersburg, Tennessee for several years. In 2010, David moved back to his home state of Louisiana in 2010 and has been employed fulltime by St. Tammany Parish Hospital ever since.
Tara Grissom
Tara received her Bachelor of Science degree in 1995 in Speech Language Pathology from The University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, MS. She earned her Master's of Science degree in Communication and Science Disorders from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2001. She has worked in various settings including a rehabilitation hospital, school system, and private practice. Currently she works part time as a Speech Language Pathologist in a private setting in Mandeville, LA, and manages the credentialing procedures, contracts, payroll, and scheduling of staff at facilities contracted with Northshore Anesthesia Services.
Kathy Dobie
Kathy graduated from William Carey University with her Bachelors of Nursing in 1996. After working in CCU at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS she went on to Charity School of Nurse Anesthesiology with her husband, David. She graduated in 2001 and moved to Boise, Idaho to work for Boise Anesthesia at St. Alphonsus level one trauma center. In 2004, she moved to Dyersburg, Tennessee and worked as a staff CRNA at Dyersburg Regional Hospital and Union City Ambulatory Surgery Center. Kathy moved to Louisiana in 2010 and has been working full-time as a staff CRNA on the north shore of St. Tammany Parish.
